Q: Who can partake in Connect4friendship?
A: Anybody of any age who would like to brighten the world during these uncertain times. 

Q: Does it cost to register? 
A: No! It does not cost to register and be part of Connect4Friendship. However we do highly encourage you to set up a fundraising page and get all your friends and family to contribute towards your connection. In that way you not only help bring light into this world by connecting to someone on May 17th, but you also help Friendship Circle continue their crucial work of creating friendship and acceptance for individuals with special needs.  

Q: What does it mean to "connect" on March 17?
A: During these unprecedented times of social distancing we want to make sure that we are not socially distant. That those in need know they are not alone. So you will have 8 options of things to do that reach out to others while still staying safe. You will connect with someone on May 17 through these acts. These actions are what we call "connections". 

Q: What do I need to do leading up to Connect4friendship on May 17?
A: Before may 17th make sure to do the following 4 things:

1. Register and choose your act of connection 

2. Set up your fundraising page and share it with all your contacts (you do not have to fund raise to be part of Connect4Friendship but it would be great if you do!)

3. Invite all your contacts to join your team and be a part of Connect4friendship. Remember the more people we have connecting the more people in need can be reached!

4. Pick up your Connect4friendship T-shirt. 

Q: How do I get other involved? 
A: You can get others to also register and fundraise or you can get them to simply join your team and pick an act of connection!

Q: Do we get anything for being a part of Connect4Friendship?
A: There are 3 things you could get: 

1. The joy of helping others! Anyone who connects with another gets the satisfaction of knowing you have brightened someone's day. 

2. All registrants will get a T-shirt

3. All fundraisers are eligible for various cool incentives - check out our incentives page for details. 

Q: So what happens on May 17th? 
A: May 17th is Connect4Friendship. Sometime between 12:30-4:00pm you will complete your act of connection. Make sure that you wear your T-shirt and take a selfie pic or video of you in the act! Once complete you will upload your pic to a designated email. It will then be uploaded to a live stream on Facebook of all the awesome acts of social connections around Atlanta! Sit back and watch social media blow up with positivity!
